State Board Of Education Approves FY17 Funding for 21st Century Community Learning Centers

The State Board of Education approved the continuation of Funding in fiscal year 2017 (FY17) for the 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21stCCLC) sub-grant.

Funding is authorized under Title IV, Part B of the Elementary and Secondary

Education Act (ESEA), as amended by the No Child Left behind Act of 2001, and is made

Available for an approved project period of five (5) years contingent upon successful

Implementation of the sub-grant and continued availability of Federal funds for each of the five

(5) Fiscal years of the award. Your sub-grant has been approved for the amount $350.000.  Registration has been set for July 23, 2016 at Terrell Resource Learning Center, 524 Oak St.,  Dawson GA. from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Breakfast will be served. 

The program will begin Aug. 4, 2016.   Hours of operation will be Mon. through Fri. from 3p.m. -6:15 p.m.  For more information, call 229-995-6251.
